Jay, Chris, Brodie, Jaz and Olly – the team behind Bredon Finance are here to help you! Based across the United Kingdom, the team behind Bredon Finance have a combined experience of more than 30 years, helping clients with their mortgage, remortgage and protection needs.
If it’s your first time buying, we’ll make sure the process is as simple and concise as possible, meaning you can make informed decisions on the biggest purchase of your life. Jay Patel
Jay has an astounding 30-year career in the finance industry and held senior management positions at Eagle Star, C&G, Lloyds, and TSB.
Jay is the Senior Mortgage and Protection Adviser of Bredon Finance and supports the team of advisers with his wealth of knowledge & experience.
As a Mortgage and Protection Adviser his primary focus is providing each client with a tailored mortgage service that suits their needs. With Jay’s guidance, you can confidently navigate the ever-evolving mortgage landscape and secure the ideal mortgage for your situation. Moreover, he can also protect your home, income and loved ones.
Outside of work, Jay cherishes spending time with his family. As an avid sports enthusiast, he plays in local cricket and football teams. And if that wasn’t impressive enough, Jay also holds a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate!

Chris Turrell
Chris is an experienced Mortgage and Protection Adviser and passionate about helping everyone with their mortgage and protection needs – no problem is too complicated and he believes everyone can be supported with their home buying wishes. He is particularly keen to support serving and ex-serving members of the armed forces in any way he can.
Chris is also our Business Protection specialist, and wants to see every business owner and their company protected should something unexpected happen.
Chris has a Master’s degree in Chemistry, 8 years’ experience as a flute and saxophone player in The Bands of His Majesty’s Royal Marines. Chris plays cricket in his spare time when he is not chasing after his children or trying to escape in the garden, growing a large number of fruit and vegetables as well as flowers.

Brodie Potts
Brodie has worked in the financial services industry since 2018 and has considerable experience as a Mortgage Administrator. He always wanted to pursue a career in finance as an adviser, so he studied the relevant qualifications in his spare time and passed with flying colours.
His primary goal is to provide clients with a friendly and high-level service, with the aim of making it as seamless, simple and easy to understand.
Outside of work, Brodie enjoys playing and watching football as well as spending time with his family and friends. He is an Aston Villa season ticket holder and follows them avidly. His most recent hobby is golf which he is trying to get into, however he won’t mind us saying he may need a few more lessons!

Jaz Sahota
Jaz has been involved in the property and finance sector for over 20 years and joined as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser in 2023. Being born and bred in Wolverhampton, he covers the West Midlands, Shropshire, Staffordshire, and surrounding areas.
There are two parts of the job Jaz really enjoys; he thrives on providing the the right advice and service to his clients and finding them the most tailored solution for their circumstances and secondly, no two days are ever the same.
Jaz is married with a daughter and love’s spending quality time his family. He is a fun-loving individual and lives by the moto – ‘live each day as if it is your last’.

Olly Lewis
Olly started his career with mortgages acting as an administrator and specialized in all post application tasks. In 2023 he qualified as a mortgage and protection adviser and provides a service that is personalized to each client.
From first contact to the client taking out their new mortgage, Olly aims to make the process as stress free as possible for the client dealing with all pre and post application procedures making sure everything progresses smoothly.
Outside of work Olly loves spending time with friends and family as much as possible and is a keen rugby player, playing for his hometown of Brecon.
